Tell that to the FIA who has a contract with Codemasters and EA. As long as there is a prize and recognition to earn from the esports, people will play. Same thing goes with league racing. If anything, this game is more alive than ACC when it comes down to certain platforms (console).

ACC and iRacing both have their shortcomings and issues with their physics and no sane person would use them as an actual simulator. They're just games, like F1 24, but with a bit more complex physics model. And believe me, those F1 esports drivers would kick your ass in those games as well.

If you want F1, you have no other choice. And I mean online and leagues with F1 cars. Barely or never seen it in iracing or AC. ACC obv doesn't have it so it's a pass.

@@steelin666 what are you on about mate, countless real racing drivers use iRacing to practice their skills and SIMULATE a racing environment. Most of the guys you race with on F1 24 (Verstappen, Norris, Sainz, just to name a few) are seen on iRacing quite often. On the other hand, I've never seen a single one of them play the F1 game series unless they were getting paid for it. Also comparing iRacing to F1 and saying it just has a bit more complex physics model is the biggest stretch I've ever seen, it seems you don't know much about what you're saying.

Cause the only difference is how the game feels. Of course it’s going to be the same lines because it’s called the racing line for a reason. It’s the fastest way to get around the track. It’s the same game as well.

Well when the physics are literally broken (full lock steering for example), it isn't about "not wanting to learn the new game mechanics", it's about how garbage the handling model is at its core. Plus the current pace with this new patch is closer to the IRL pace of these cars.

What about the New tyre model , engine braking and the suspension features are basically relegated. There’s basically little to no Traction to work with therefore you can’t lean on the cars Mechanical grip. We have basically made E.A job simpler all they literally had to do was copy and paste old code from the previous game. I actually want a refund this is not what I paid for . I’m happy to walk away from nonsense like this. You guys can enjoy this honestly

F1 23 handling is still far better than F1 24

Wheel users have always been easier to perform faster because you have more information than a controller. Its just the nature of racing games.

It's not pay to win 😂. If you knew the real definition, you wouldn't have said that. And in answer to this traction control thing for controller, just get good, I played controller for years abd became really quick with full tc off, I only played weekends so dont think I spent hours on end grinding

@@clemfandango2379 you know that EA F1 is an Arcade Game? When you need a sim goes to ASC or IRacing.

They don't market it as an arcade game though, they market it as a simacde/controller accessible sim. They also always tout how it's more realistic, intuitive etc. If they came out and said it was an arcade game, I'd have no problem really with it, but they don't. So I'm only saying the handling is bad going off most people's expectations from the marketing

@Shadicboom101 nope. the only time t9 and 10 at australia have been taken 100% flat was by bottas in 2019. every other time there has been some sort of lift from the drivers.

@@Shadicboom101 look at telemetry. yelistener has litterally done a video about australia t9 and 10 and shiws telemetry and bottas's telemetry is the only one that shows thise 2 corners being taken flat.
